Mann Ki Baat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (August 25) addressed the 113th episode of his monthly radio broadcast, ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

Addressing the audience across the country, PM Modi said that on August 23, the country celebrated the success of lunar spaceflight and was known as the first National Space Day. He also says that many things are being developed in India which will help in strengthening the new vision of developed India.

“Last year, on this day, Chandrayaan-3 had made a successful landing on the southern part of the moon at the Shiv-Shakti point,” he said as he highlighted the works of different organisations and people in improving the environment and batted for collective efforts in the field. On the occasion, the Prime Minister also noted that the youth of the country has benefitted a lot from various reforms in the space sector.

He also spoke to several young entrepreneurs leading space startups and highlighted their work. These entrepreneurs also appreciated the growing life space ecosystem in the country

PM Modi also mentioned his this year’s Independence Day address from Red Fort, where he urged one lakh Youths, who were not from a political background, to connect with the political system. “This point of mine has garnered tremendous response. We, thus, come to know that a large number of our youth are eagerly ready to enter politics. All they are looking for is the right opportunity and apt guidance,” he said

I have also received letters from youth across the country on this subject. Enormous responses are being received on social media as well. People have sent me many kinds of suggestions. Some youth have written in their letters that it is truly inconceivable for them. On account of the absence of a political legacy on the part of their grandfather or parents, they could not enter politics despite wanting to,” the Prime Minister added.

Modi noted that during the freedom movement, countless people from all walks of life came forward, even though they had no political background. “They devoted themselves entirely to India’s independence. Today, to achieve the vision of a Viksit Bharat, we need to rekindle that same spirit once again,” he added. The PM also mentioned that youngsters have written to him and reacted on social media to his call.
