In his affidavit submitted to the Election Commission, Amit Shah has stated that he owns stakes in nearly 180 firms, including unlisted ones, as he is contesting the Lok Sabha elections again from Gandhinagar, Gujarat. His wife, Sonal Shah, holds shares in over 80 companies. It’s estimated that Sonal Shah’s assets are worth around 20 crore rupees, while the total market value of Amit Shah’s shares is assessed at 17.46 crore rupees.

This portfolio includes various types of equities, but the investor has heavily invested in ten major shares, each of which is valued at over one crore rupees.

Canara Bank: Amit Shah holds approximately 7.25 lakh shares, while Sonal Shah holds 50,000 shares valued at 2.96 crore rupees.

Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care: Each has invested more than 1.9 crore rupees jointly.

Karur Vysya Bank: The valuation of Sonal Shah’s one lakh shares is 1.9 crore rupees.

“Bharti Airtel: Sonal Shah owns shares worth 1.22 crore rupees in the telecom company.”

“Colgate-Palmolive (India): Amit Shah has invested approximately 1.07 crore rupees in this company.”

Sun Pharma: Sonal Shah owns more than 1 crore rupees worth of shares in this pharmaceutical company.

A review of Amit Shah’s equity portfolio reveals that his top five holdings, with a total market value of approximately 17.4 crore rupees, include HUL, MRF, Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care, and Abbott India. Additionally, notable investments include ITC, VIP Industries, Infosys, Grindwell Norton, Cummins India, and Kansai Nerolac Paints. His unlisted portfolio is also valued at three lakh rupees. Banking and FMCG sectors are given priority in his investment options.

The affidavit states that the combined value of the couple’s assets is 65.67 crore rupees. Amit Shah’s movable and immovable assets are estimated to be worth 20.23 crore rupees. These assets include cash, bank savings, deposits, gold, silver, and inherited property.

The estimated value of Sonal Shah’s assets, including cash, bank savings, stock investments, deposits, and gold and silver jewelry, is expected to be more than 22.5 crore rupees, with the value of jewelry alone exceeding 1.10 crore rupees.
