Adityanath was addressing the event for Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Sanjhai village, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several development projects worth Rs 6.47 crore.

The Chief Minister said that when there was no BJP government at the Center and the State, people had to face a lot of problems for toilets, housing, ration, health care, roads and electricity. When after 2014, Narendra Modi government took charge, they accepted the 140 crore people of the country as a family and started working for their welfare with commitment and sincerity.

The poor did not have houses, they lived in huts, whereas today four crore poor families in the country and 55 lakh in the state have become beneficiaries of the housing scheme.

The Chief Minister also says that due to the schemes of the Central and State Government, they are becoming the factor of change in the lives of the poor.
