In Gujarat today, Prime Minister Modi will unveil infrastructure projects worth over 60,000 crores, providing a significant boost to sectors including roads, railways, and internet connectivity.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to unveil several development projects exceeding 60,000 crores during his Gujarat visit.
This journey coincides with the Golden Jubilee celebration of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. A detailed report on all the projects unveiled by the Prime Minister has been presented here.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Unveil Key Projects in Gujarat
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate significant development projects in the public celebrations to be held in Mahesana and Navsari. These projects will be aimed at overall development and will encompass various crucial sectors such as roads, railways, energy, health, internet connectivity, urban development, water supply, tourism, petroleum and natural gas, and tribal development. The projects are intended to benefit the entire state of Gujarat.
Projects in Mahesana’s Tarabh Region: Boosting Connectivity and Infrastructure
In Taarbh, Mahesana, PM Modi will dedicate important projects, including BharatNet Phase-II – Gujarat Fiber Grid Network Limited. The objective is to provide high-speed internet to more than 8000 gram panchayats.
Additionally, inauguration ceremonies will take place for various railway projects, including doubling of rail lines, gauge conversion, and new broad-gauge lines in Mahesana and Banaskantha districts. Road projects in Kheda, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, and Mahesana, among other initiatives, will further enhance the overall development of the region.
Foundation Stone Laying in Mahesana: Paving the Way for Future Growth
During the program, PM Modi will lay the foundation for several important projects, including new district-level and Ayurvedic hospitals in Anand district, development projects for religious sites, road construction, educational institutions, and improvements in water supply in Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad, Banaskantha district.
Development Projects in Navsari including Vadodara Mumbai Expressway
In Navsari, Prime Minister Modi will dedicate several development projects, including sections of the Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway, road projects in Bharuch, Navsari, and Valsad, along with the initiation of construction work for rural water supply in Tapi. The groundbreaking for the Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM Mitra) Park will also mark a significant milestone for this region.
Foundation Stone Laying in Navsari
During the program, PM Modi will lay the foundation for projects including the Bharuch-Dahej Access-Controlled Expressway, health facilities in Vadodara, Regional Science Center, railway gauge conversion projects, road construction, and water supply schemes in various districts, among others.
Surat’s Developmental Endeavors
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation for various development projects under the Surat Municipal Corporation, Surat Urban Development Authority, and Dream City, aiming to enhance urban infrastructure and facilities in the region.
Kakrapar Atomic Power Station Expansion
Prime Minister Modi will dedicate two new pressurized heavy water reactors (PHWR) built by the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) at the Kakrapar Atomic Power Station (KAPS) Unit 3 and Unit 4. With a capacity of 1400 megawatts, these reactors signify a significant progress in indigenous nuclear energy production, promising clean electricity for several states, including Gujarat, Maharashtra, MP, Chhattisgarh, Goa, and centrally governed territories like Dadra and Nagar Haveli, as well as Daman and Diu.
